As Accounting Manager, Ellie Ellsworth is responsible for all aspects of accounting to give REQ’s leadership a complete and accurate picture of the company’s yearly performance. Ellie also ensures REQ’s regulatory and tax compliance and works closely with REQ’s outside tax accountants, bank auditors, and bank compliance officers.
Prior to joining REQ, Ellie worked in a dual role as an HR Manager and Accounting Manager at a kitchen cabinet design company where she established processes and procedures to structure the organization and help it run smoothly.
She also previously worked as the Application Support Manager for the Fixed Assets and Capital Project software packages at McCormack and Dodge where she ensured they provided excellent client support and complied with accounting and tax regulations.
Before that, Ellie was an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) where she worked in banking, finance, health care, insurance, and government industries with both large and small companies such as Raytheon, Fidelity, City of Boston, and AIG.
Ellie holds a BS in Accounting from Boston College.
