As a Virtual Event Coordinator, Molly Hennessy is involved in all stages of planning and managing events delivering the highest quality experience for customers. In her day-to-day work, Molly draws on her close attention to detail to create data-driven reports, schedule and execute online event plans, and serve as a liaison between Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REQ.
Before joining REQ, Molly focused on social media content creation, brand strategy, and event coordination. She was an events intern with Chance for Life, a DC-based benefit event for childhood cancer research. She was also an intern with The Brand Guild, a DC-based experiential marketing agency where she discovered her passion for brand development while working with brands including Lyft, Sweetgreen, Events DC, SoulCycle, Moxy Hotels, and Milk.
Molly graduated at the top of her class at the University of Maryland with a degree in Communication on a Public Relations track with a minor in History. She studied abroad on Semester at Sea, sailing around Asia, Africa, and Europe for four months. Molly seeks out any opportunity to travel.
