As Associate Director of Paid Media at REQ, Melysa Adkins leads a team of talented paid search marketers who utilize the perfect balance of art, science, creativity, and data to design and implement successful media plans. With a hands-on approach, she works to foster an environment of collaboration and innovation that helps facilitate the development of best-in-class strategies.
Prior to joining REQ, Melysa worked at several leading digital marketing agencies in San Diego. She has more than eight years of experience in paid search, both through managing accounts directly and managing experienced teams. Her passion is in the e-commerce space with expertise spanning several verticals including retail and apparel, beauty, and food and beverage. Melysa has helped drive successful paid search strategy and campaigns for clients such as Sunglass Hut, Ray-Ban, Skullcandy, Bare Minerals, White House Black Market, Allwell & Health Net Medicare, and Rubio’s.
Melysa earned her BS in Integrated Marketing Communications from San Diego State University. In her free time, she enjoys snuggling with her two boxers, Quorra and Winston, traveling with her husband, and being the resident makeup artist to her friends and family.
