REQ Named to INC. 500 List of America's Fastest-Growing Companies

RepEquity, a DC-based and industry leading online brand management company, today announced that it has been named to the prestigious 2012 Inc. 500 list of America’s fastest growing companies. In its first year of eligibility, REQ was ranked #195 with a three-year growth rate of 1,832%. This achievement places RepEquity among an elite group of companies in the Inc. 500 history such as Microsoft, Oracle, Intuit, and Under Armour. Other entrants this year include Facebook, Chobani, and Yelp.

"We are thrilled and honored to be named to the Inc. 500," said RepEquity CEO and founder, Tripp Donnelly. "We are very proud to be ranked amongst the country’s most dynamic companies shaping business today. This recognition validates the innovative services and technology we deliver to our clients and a testament to the dedicated work of our talented team.”

"Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward. Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is," says Inc. magazine Editor Eric Schurenberg. He added that RepEquity had to thrive “through three of the toughest years this economy has seen in living memory.”

Out of the nearly 7 million privately-owned companies based in the U.S., only 500 are recognized in this group each year. Unveiled in the September issue of Inc., the 2012 Inc. 500 is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. To make the cut, companies had to have achieved a minimum of 770% in revenue growth. Companies are ranked according to revenue growth when comparing 2008 to 2011 and have to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent as of December 2011. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) For more information, visit www.inc.com/500.
