REQ Clients Win Gold Horizon Interactive Awards
Two REQ client programs, Rip Curl and ClearFlame Engine Technologies, won gold Horizon Interactive Awards. The Horizon Interactive Awards recognize excellence in interactive media production worldwide, with thousands of entries each year.
“We are always proud of our client work, but we enjoy being recognized by fellow marketers because it reinforces the high level of effort, thinking, and quality in our work,” said Eric Gilbertsen, REQ’s Chief Client Officer. “The best part is celebrating with our clients, and giving them a tangible way to shine a positive spotlight on their contributions within their organization or brand. We like seeing the trophies on display when we visit them.”
About the Winners
Rip Curl - Integrated Campaign
Rip Curl is one of the largest surfing sportswear companies and sponsors in the world. REQ began working with them to audit and adjust their earned media strategy, primarily focusing on search engine optimization (SEO).
Our partnership has quickly grown to include paid media strategy, management, and optimization at all stages of the marketing funnel.
ClearFlame Engine Technologies - Website
REQ set out with the goal of helping ClearFlame, which had just received their Series A round of funding, tell their dynamic story and articulate their vision for audiences hungry for effective and rapid climate solutions. Our team worked with ClearFlame to evolve their messaging from language that primarily described the technology to messaging that speaks directly to audiences and communicates ClearFlame’s vision and the reason to believe in it.
With the new brand platform, “Let’s Clear the Air, One Engine at a Time,” as our foundation for design, we created a WordPress website to better drive awareness and excitement.
About the Horizon Interactive Awards
In its 21st season, the Horizon Interactive Awards was created to recognize excellence in interactive media production worldwide. Since 2001, the competition has received tens of thousands of entries from over 50 countries around the world and nearly all 50 US States. Each year, those entries are narrowed down to the “best of the best” to be recognized and promoted on an international stage for their excellence. The judging process involves a blend of the Horizon Interactive Awards advisory panel and a rotating panel of volunteer judges consisting of respected and engaged industry professionals. Winning entries have been dubbed the “best of the best” in the interactive media industry.
