REQ's Work with CSRA Wins Communicator Award

Washington, DC - May 10, 2018 - The 24th Annual Communicator Awards selected the “Curiosity” SuperBowl commercial created by REQ for CSRA as a winner in the Commercials - General-Branded Content category.

The Communicator Awards is the leading international creative awards program honoring creative excellence for communication professionals. Founded over two decades ago, The Communicator Awards is an annual competition honoring the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity for print, video, interactive, and audio. The Communicator Awards receives entries from top ad agencies around the globe, and is widely recognized as one of the largest awards of its kind in the world.

CSRA approached REQ (formerly RepEquity) in 2015 after a merger that left the new company without a strong brand position to unify employees and differentiate the company. REQ was engaged to build a new brand that united the two formerly disparate companies under one brand position and personify CSRA’s vision as the most innovative IT contractor in the nation. After developing CSRA’s new brand position, “Think Next. Now.”, it was then up to REQ to introduce this new brand to the world. This push included an internal launch, robust website, an integrated marketing plan, and two Super Bowl commercials. As a result of this partnership, CSRA was able to define themselves as a brand that imagines a better future for their customers and delivers those solutions today.

CSRA was acquired by General Dynamics Information Technology for $9.7 billion in April 2018.
