Lisa Throckmorton Selected as Washington PR Woman of the Year

Washington Women in Public Relations (WWPR) has selected our very own Lisa Throckmorton as a finalist for the honor of Washington PR Woman of the Year!

Finalists were selected by a panel of judges based on their demonstrated ability in the public relations field, their leadership qualities, and their community contributions.

Finalists include:

• Carrie Fox, President, Fox Communications
• Christina Nicols, Senior Vice President, Director of Strategic Planning and Research, Hager Sharp
• Lisa Throckmorton, Chief Operations Officer, SpeakerBox

The finalists will be honored on Friday, November 13, at the Fairmont Hotel during WWPR’s 26th annual Washington PR Woman of Year Award Luncheon. The luncheon is WWPR’s signature event celebrating the outstanding achievements of the Washington region’s best and brightest PR professionals.

This year’s luncheon will feature a keynote presentation from Kelly Parisi, VP of Marketing and Communications at Lean In.
