Convey a vibrant atmosphere that aligns with the restaurant’s Middle Eastern influences and humble charm.
Our approach
REQ crafted Shouk’s brand identity and store interior to purposely borrow from humble and basic commodity trading materials. The wear-and-tear charm and patina of reclaimed materials, the warm sandy palette, and the exotic graphics and typography found on posters, crates, and cans work together to convey the mood of an open bazaar.
Since launching, Shouk has been named Washington’s best fast casual by The Washington Post and Eater DC.
