Celebrating the Launch of Smallcellsite.com

Last week, our client, TeleWorld Solutions, launched the world’s first small cell location marketplace at CTIA Super Mobility 2016™. SmallCellSite.com is a new online marketplace that connects mobile operators and property owners so they can quickly buy and sell small cell installation locations.

Not only did the online marketplace catch the eye of many analysts and reporters, but it was also named a winner in the “In-Building Wireless (Small Cell, WiFi, LAN)” category at the 10^thannual 2016 CTIA Emerging Technology Awards.

TeleWorld Solutions created SmallCellSite.com to help mobile operators and property owners work together so each can benefit from the exploding demand for wireless data. Carriers are densifying current 4G networks and prepping to rollout next-generation 5G networks using small cells, low powered wireless base stations that can be deployed on apartment roofs, inside shopping malls, on billboards, or other locations. But procuring the right kind of property assets for small cell deployments has been costly and time-consuming for both property owners and carriers. SmallCellSite.comconnects operators and property owners who want to buy and sell attachment rights at these locations.

The site uses an interactive mapping and photo-based interface that makes it possible for property owners to effortlessly showcase property-listing information to attract operator interest and open up significant new revenue streams. This ultimately lowers costs for carriers and accelerates deployments. It’s a simple solution to a big challenge — and a win for property owners and carriers as we transition to faster 4G and new 5G networks.
