Katy Parker

As a Senior Account Executive with the Public Relations team at REQ, Katy Parker manages media relations for clients and coordinates REQ’s talent to help drive their goals. With a passion for building relationships and working with clients across a wide range of industries, she thrives in the dynamic PR world and eagerly embraces new challenges.

Before joining REQ’s public relations team, Katy worked at a public relations and digital content agency in Atlanta, Georgia, where she crafted compelling stories and secured top media placement for clients in the commercial real estate, banking, construction, and hospitality sectors. While there, she was an active contributor to the new business development team and consistently secured exciting broadcast media coverage for a client.

Katy graduated from The University of Alabama with a B.A. in Public Relations. As a student, she was an active member in Greek life and interned with the hospitality team in the athletic department, gaining experience at football, basketball, baseball games, and gymnastics meets. Roll Tide!

After spending five years in Atlanta, Katy moved to DC to be closer to her family in Virginia Beach, her hometown. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her dog Remy, attending concerts, cheering on the Crimson Tide, working out at Barre3, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
