REQ’s Founder and CEO Tripp Donnelly Named Top Tech Titan by Washingtonian Magazine

Washington, DC - October 9, 2019 - REQ, a leader in digital marketing and brand management, today announced that founder and CEO Tripp Donnelly was selected as a 2019 “Top Tech Titan” by Washingtonian magazine. The list is a roundup of the most influential, innovative, and interesting people in Washington’s rapidly growing high-tech community.

The recognition comes during a momentous year for REQ. The company has completed two acquisitions in 2019 -- strategic communications and tech PR firm SpeakerBox in January, and San Diego-based IMI, one of the U.S.’s fastest-growing performance marketing companies in August. Through acquisition and organic growth, REQ has grown over 300% in the last few years. The acquisitions also underscore REQ’s strategy of achieving scale and full stack marketing capabilities through the integration of traditional and digital media services, enabling the company to compete with global agencies while retaining its personal, regional touch toward client service.

“The leaders on this list are people we admire and have enjoyed working alongside for years,” said Tripp Donnelly, REQ founder and CEO. “It has been an exciting year for our team, and it’s great to see our region continue to grow as a technology market. We are proud to be building one of the nation’s fastest-growing marketing companies here in Washington, DC.”

The Washingtonian Tech Titan award is the result of a competitive selection process and recipients are chosen based upon a proven track record of success and influence as a leader and visionary in the tech world. Donnelly was recognized in the “The Entrepreneurs” category, keeping elite company alongside other tech innovators, such as Tim Hwang of FiscalNote, Steve Case of Revolution Growth, and Tom Davidson of EverFi.
