Korean Fast Casual Restaurant Bibigo Taps REQ to Lead Brand Development of New Restaurant Concept

WHO: LA-based Korean fast casual restaurant Bibigo and brand marketing agency REQ

WHAT: Bibigo, one of California’s most prominent Korean fast casual restaurants, announces that it has selected marketing agency REQ to develop a comprehensive brand strategy and design a new visual identity to support Bibigo as they expand further in the U.S. in 2018 and beyond.

Owned by Korean holding company, CJ Group, Bibigo is in the midst of a major transformation as they expand on their traditional food court offerings to standalone restaurants with new elevated menus in line with their Bibigo 2.0 vision. As a result, they are seeking REQ’s expertise to further establish their company as the preeminent Korean fast casual in the crowded quick service restaurant (QSR) market.

Specifically, REQ will perform an in-depth brand and market analysis to inform Bibigo’s new brand positioning, values and narrative, and REQ will design a fresh brand identity that will be brought to life in its digital and physical properties.

This engagement with Bibigo further solidifies REQ’s position as a leading marketing company in the QSR space. In addition to Bibigo, REQ’s client roster includes Sweetgreen, a seasonally inspired, national fast casual brand with more than 75 locations nationwide, CAVA, a quickly expanding DC-based Mediterranean fast casual restaurant, and Blue Lemon, an upscale health-conscious fast casual brand based in Utah, along with many other successful companies.
