Designing for Color Blindness [Infographic]

Being color blind can often be frustrating for those who have one of its multiple forms. Having a color vision deficiency does not necessarily mean you see the world in black and white, however, your perception of color can be narrowed greatly. Colors on the spectrum can appear closer together and not nearly as vibrant or bright as they appear to someone who isn’t colorblind.

Unfortunately, this can make web browsing an arduous ordeal for those with the condition. Designing for color blindness can be a difficult task for designers who aren’t color blind themselves. Fortunately, there are many guidelines and tools online that can help designers create a better experience for their end-users.
