Nick Ortiz began his career in Digital Marketing, but during his tenure at REQ decided to channel this experience towards following his curiosity about programming. As a Junior Developer, he has gained valuable experience in Front-End web development including styling, responsiveness, and building and launching sites from the ground up.
Prior to joining REQ, Nick worked in digital marketing across legal, automotive, and social media clients including Facebook and Eventbrite. He led Facebook’s Business Advertising platform strategy within 90+ countries, increasing usership by 110% overall by working with the internal Facebook team to perform A/B testing and landing page optimization.
Nick has a BS from Virginia Tech and enjoys exploring the food, art, and culture of whatever city he is in.
